Smart Parking for Sustainable Mobility
_______Smart Park is a university project aimed at developing an eco-friendly, smart parking system to alleviate urban congestion and contribute to sustainable city planning. The scheme combines intelligent parking solutions with a "park and ride" feature to optimize existing spaces and promote green transportation options.
The Brief
In collaboration with a team of professors, academicians, and volunteer students, the goal was to create branding that encapsulates sustainable parking. The visual elements needed to convey key themes such as 'Parking,' 'Vehicle,' 'Mobility,' 'Sustainability,' and 'Environmentally friendly.' The challenge was to visually articulate these themes in a way that would resonate with a diverse academic audience.
The Result
Smart Park's logo incorporates a vehicle topped with a leaf, symbolizing the project's focus on eco-friendly and sustainable parking solutions. The saturated green color represents both the environmental and technological facets of the initiative, while the addition of purple emphasizes its tech-driven nature. The branding has been adapted into various color schemes and logo formats for broad application.

Working in collaboration with an engineering team and UX specialists, the mobile application was specifically designed for limited users, initially restricted to Istanbul Bilgi University's campus and student body. Now in its testing phase, the app offers a user-friendly interface for booking and selecting parking slots. It has been tested with a select group of users and is currently in an iterative phase for further refinement.
