This UI/UX project is designed to solve a specific problem, using a comprehensive user experience and service design methodology. It goes through the Discovery, Definition, Development, and Delivery stages, each carefully planned and considered from a user-based approach while meeting academic standards.

User Experience
A user-friendly platform will shape the UX, offering diverse types and teachers to grab attention and gamified lessons for engagement. Innovative AI tools offer interactive practices and personalised guidance, while milestones sustain user motivation and a sense of achievement.
Challenges
To facilitate ML, AI, and AR in recognizing written letters for real-time feedback, a diverse dataset covering calligraphy strokes and styles is essential. The art's complexity varies by teacher, culture, and language. Initial implementation will include one style per type, despite technical and cost challenges.
Key Insights
Based on the 'Definition' phase, cultural shifts are sidelining traditional arts and hobbies, while short attention spans deter younger learners. The modern world is also hindering the growth of calligraphy artists. Innovative techniques, new hobbies, creative teaching, and support are needed
The Problem
Based on initial 'Discovery' research, many traditional crafts are losing popularity and at risk, although some like calligraphy are making comebacks. My project aims to support calligraphy's revival and shift its outdated perception among younger generations.

Solution/UX Vision Statement
I believe there is an opportunity to make the art of calligraphy more appealing and accessible for modern learners, specifically young beginners, by integrating modern technology into practices. This approach aims to break the monotony of conventional teaching methods and bridge the gap between tradition and innovation while preserving its traditional value. The goal is to keep this art form alive and aligned with the rapidly changing world, thereby honouring the cultural heritage.

Calligraphy.AI is a digital platform using AI, ML, and AR to connect young enthusiasts with calligraphy experts . It offers a gamified, personalized learning journey, rewarding user progress. The platform also enables experts to share their craft widely, aiming to keep calligraphy relevant in digital age.
