Beauty Meets Travel: A Health Tourism Platform
_______ Dr.Afrodit serves as a trusted bridge between patients and leading medical professionals in Turkey, specialising in health tourism and cosmetic surgeries. The app streamlines the process of finding and scheduling appointments with qualified doctors, offering a convenient solution for those looking to combine healthcare needs with travel opportunities.
The Brief
To create branding that primarily represents the health sector, whether through colors, patterns, or other elements. The project's name, Dr.Afrodit, draws inspiration from Aphrodite, the ancient goddess of beauty, to promote health tourism with a focus on cosmetic surgeries. The unique fusion of ancient mythology and modern healthcare needed to be visually conveyed in a compelling manner.
The Result
Given the project's unique name and extraordinary blend of ancient mythology and health, I felt it was essential to incorporate elements of Aphrodite herself into the logo. Dr.Afrodit's icon combines a representation of Aphrodite's silhouette with a stethoscope, symbolising the medical aspect of the project. The logo employs soft hues of green and blue, chosen to create a warm and calming atmosphere for clients who may find medical processes stressful.
UI Design
In breaking away from the typically sterile and business-like aesthetic of medical web pages, we designed a user-friendly and inviting online experience. Our goal was to create a welcoming atmosphere for users contemplating medical procedures. The platform offers distinct interfaces for both patients and doctors, available on both mobile and web platforms, developed in collaboration with an engineering team and a UX specialist.
